If asked to name some of the best golf courses in Northeast Ohio, there’s a good chance that much of the list would look like this:
Sand Ridge Club. Glenmoor Country Club. Lakewood Country Club. Youngstown Country Club. Barrington Golf Club. Elyria Country Club. Shaker Heights Country Club. Firestone North. Fairlawn Country Club. Shady Hollow Country Club. Portage Country Club. Silver Lake Country Club.
It just so happens that this list also matches many of the courses on the 2019 Northern Ohio Golf Association’s Tournament Schedule.
And in 2019, every player in Greater Cleveland has the chance to play these courses in these tournaments.
Just today, NOGA finalized its 2019 tournament schedule, ironing out its final two event sites from TBD status. That full schedule is posted below, and will be posted to our own Tournament Calendar as soon as possible.
But the information sharing is just getting started.
Next week, NEOHgolf.com will run an interview story with NOGA Executive Director Robb Schulze, detailing the expansion that NOGA will undertake in 2019 from private club-focused to serving all of the region’s golfers.
Then just a few days after that, Northeast Ohio Golf will publish a story that outlines the simple and affordable way that any player can join NOGA and play in its events — through the launch of its own brand-new Club.
