Elyria’s Paul LaGrotteria rode great Sunday Players Championship rounds by Scottie Scheffler and Tyrrell Hatton to a victory in the Zoar Golf Club PGA TOUR Fantasy Series on Northern Ohio Golf this weekend.
LaGrotteria’s top 8 players of 12 picked finished at 69-under par for the week, good for a two shot win over co-runners up Duane Daily and Josh Prok. LaGrotteria earned a tidy $185, as Daily and Prok each garnered $92.50.
All three of the top finishers selected Tyrrell Hatton as one of their player picks, as his back nine 29 on Sunday pushed him into solo second place at TPC Sawgrass.
The next event on the Zoar Golf Club PGA TOUR Fantasy Series will be The Masters at Augusta National Golf Club on April 6 – 9. Entries for The Masters Fantasy event will open on Northern Ohio Golf on Saturday, April 1.
