Kent State Women Finish T5, Fall to Alabama in Match Play

Kent State GolfThe Kent State University Women’s Golf Team finished in a tie for fifth at the NCAA National Championship, falling Tuesday in the quarterfinals match play round to number two seeded Alabama, 4-1.

The Golden Flashes completed a fantastic run at the NCAA National Championship. Kent state also became the first program to ever advance to match play of the women’s golf championship two-straight years from outside of the “Power 5” Conferences.
