Each year, the PGA of America honors various PGA Jr. League Coaches with the largest programs nationwide and the largest in each of the forty-one sections across the country. This year, Jim Wise, PGA of the Jim Wise Golf Academy at Medina Country Club, has been selected as a 2022 #GameChanger Award recipient as the Largest PGA Jr. League program in the Northern Ohio Section as well as the 19th largest program in the country.
Jim has been a Class A Member of the PGA since 1991 and has built a reputation of excellence and integrity over the years. Combining his knowledge of the golf swing with his 30 years of teaching experience, Jim has developed a keen eye for the faults and fixes of golf swings. Jim’s teaching philosophy is to treat each golfer individually. He develops a swing or recommends swing adjustments based on each person’s abilities. He keeps his lessons fun, positive and encouraging. It is through this philosophy that he and his partner, Chris Reed, have built an award winning PGA Jr. League Program. His passion for teaching and his enthusiastic approach create a great learning environment for children to learn the game.
