Hawthorne Valley Golf Club in Solon has joined Northeast Ohio Golf as a Course Member for the 2018 season.
Designed by Donald Ross in 1924, the course is a regional gem. Natural rolling wooded terrain, creeks that meander across the property, elevated and undulating greens, and thoughtfully placed sand bunkers. It’s textbook Ross, requiring constant strategy and execution to play well.
The property is managed by Davey Golf, heading into its third year. Davey has been making significant improvements to the course and clubhouse operations, and it’s really starting to show. Zach Young will oversee management for 2018.
