Life after high school can certainly include college golf. The Greatest Golfer has 40+ players who have moved on to college golf to prove it.
So we’re pleased to bring together some of those college golfers on Saturday, January 7th in Boardman to help current junior players and high school golfers with recruiting tips, financial aid talk and — oh yeah — some actual live golf! Join us for the College Golf 101 Combine!
Presented by The Greatest Golfer and Farmers National Bank, this event is for high school and junior golfers to learn how to drive your golf passion into a college opportunity. Plus we’ll also play some virtual golf.
The event will be held at The Bunker in Southern Park Mall from 10 am – 2 pm.
Hear from many of the region’s college coaches and college players — including Youngstown State, Clarion, California, Otterbein, Westminster, Adrian, Walsh and more. Get tips and lessons learned on finding a path to college that includes college golf. Countless hours of life experiences and lessons learned will shared.
For the registrants, we’ll have golf competitions like long drive, chipping, pin shots, par-5 challenge and more on the simulators. Plus we’ll have lunch from Double Bogey’s Bar and Grill!
