PGA Professional Joe Vojtko has taken over the hosting duties of the Monday Scratch League previously played at Chippewa Golf Club, and now welcomes new players to join the weekly games at Fox Den.
As done previously, there will be an early 18-hole noon big skins game with tee times set aside from 12:15 through 12:56. Entry into that skins game is $100 for amateurs or $150 for pros, payable at the pro shop counter before play.
Then starting at 5:20 p.m. each Monday through September, a nine-hole, 2-player amateur scratch league will be hosted weekly under various formats: scramble, better ball, shamble. Players or teams who plan to participate every week are encouraged to prepay for the entire season. But players who can compete only on occasion are still welcome, so long as you text Joe or call the pro shop in advance at (330) 673-3443.
Prepay players can save big with a discounted flat-rate for golf + carts on all Mondays all season long. Also, there is a $50 all-you-can play Monday rate for those amateurs who want to play with cart in both games on the same day, another money saver.
