Tied for the overnight lead in the 2022 Fox Den Championships and battling each other throughout the second round, Aaron Crewse was one shot down to Jack Vojtko going into Fox Den’s par-3 17th. But Crewse stiffed the long, uphill tee shot to six feet to put some pressure on young Jack. Jack missed the green a little left, chipped to 8-feet but missed the par putt. Crewse drain his 6-footer to go one up on Jack.
On the 18th, Crewse calmly drove it down the middle to about 100 yards, then knocked down the pin again by hitting it to 4 feet. He made the birdie to shoot 69, finish with a 7-under par total and win by two shots.
