Round one leader Maxwell Moldovan went even lower on Day 2 to finish with a scoring record of 9-under par 135 (68-67) at today’s finale of the 2018 Northern Ohio Junior PGA Sectional Championship at Shady Hollow Country Club in Massillon.
Jacob Tarkany shot a 2 under 70 during the final round with two birdies and an eagle on the par 4 14th hole to finish even par for the tournament. Jacob tied for second with Andrew Kaye who also finished even par for the two days.
Maxwell Moldovan, Jacob Tarkany, and Andrew Kaye will represent the Northern Ohio PGA at the Boys Junior PGA National Championship at Valhalla Golf Club July 31st-August 3rd.

Jamie Morris brought home a 3-under par 69 with 6 birdies in the final round for a two day total of 142 (73-69) to take the first spot to the 2018 Girls National Championship.
Paighton Masterson finished in second place with a 1 under par 143 (76-67), shooting a personal best 67 in the final round.
Sophia Trombetta finished with a 1 over par total of 145 (72-73) to finish third place overall for the tournament.
Jamie Morris, Paighton Masterson, and Sophia Trombetta will represent the Northern Ohio PGA at the Girls Junior PGA Championship at Kearney Hills Golf Links July 9th-12th.
