NOPGA member and University of Toledo golf coach Jamie Broce posted a final round 75 against an even par 72 by closest pursuer Michael Block of Mission Viejo, CA to finish in a tie at 286 after 72 holes in the 2014 PGA Professional National Championship in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Block won with a birdie on the second hole of sudden death.

But the top 20 finishers in the 2014 PNC earn a spot in the 2014 PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club, so Broce will play in a major championship in August.

Also joining Broce at Valhalla will be another Ohioan, Bob Sowards of Columbus, finishing T5 at 289.
