Due to a rain-out on Saturday, the field for the 2013 The Fairways at Twin Lakes Course Championship went from a field of 20 golfers to just an 8-man Sunday finish.
And from that, it was a 3-man race for the title.
Ed Marsinek finished two hours ahead of the last group and posted a 2-over par total of 107 that ended up as the winning score.
Chris Plute and Bruce Bailey played in last group didn’t know what Marsinek posted, but knew they had to finish strong. But Plute made bogey on holes 24 and 27 to fall to 4-over par 109.
Bailey did finish strong and birdied holes 25 & 26 to finish solo 3rd place at 6 over par total, including a 1-under par 34 on his final nine.
