EVENT TYPE / ASSOCIATION: North Coast Junior Tour, Junior Tournament
EVENT FORMAT: Individual Stroke Play
NORTH COAST JUNIOR TOUR EVENT
Eligibility: All NCJT members are eligible to play, as long as they feel like they are capable to breaking 100 (players discretion). 48 players qualify for the Tour Championship, based on the following in order:
Event winners and ties automatically qualify.
The Classic Cup points will determine the balance of the field, based on results through the last posted regularly scheduled event.
The Tour Championship field breakdown:
Boys 16-19: 21 players
Boys 14-15: 18 players
Girls 19&U: 9 Players
Caddies are permitted for this championship. Name panels will be made for all contestants who confirm that they are bringing a caddie. Expect an email to confirm you’ll have a caddie.
Ties for 1st place will be decided by a Sudden Death Playoff. Ties for 2nd and 3rd place awards will be decided by match of card using USGA method. Ties for 2nd and 3rd will not be decided for JGS reporting.
SCHEDULE:
Day 1: Weiskopf Course
7:00 AM — Registration and Range Open
8:00 AM — Tee Times Begin (last time around 10:30 AM)
12:30 PM — Player’s Luncheon (Burgers, chips, pasta salad, cookie & drink)
Day 2: Devlin Course
7:00 AM — Registration and Range Open
8:00 AM — Tee Times Begin (last time around 10:30 AM)
12:30 PM — Player’s Luncheon (Burger, chips, pasta salad, cookie and drink)
2:30 PM — Championship Awards
Caddies and spectators will be able to purchase a meal tickets for the after golf buffet this year. Expect an email to confirm number of extra guests you’ll have, so the food can be prepared. Spectator Carts are welcome.
