Traditional Club; Fun, Family-Friendly Vibe
On Sunday, May 5th, the members of Elyria Country Club are opening the doors (and the practice range, golf course and patio) to welcome players and families interested in seeing what joining the club might look like.
The current members believe that once you see the beauty of the golf course, clubhouse and pool, taste the chef-prepared lunch, and spend a bit of time meeting some of the people, you will fall in love with ECC.
Then they’ll tell you about some of the membership programs available for 2019, to entice you even more…
Some Reasons to Consider Elyria Country Club
Elyria Country Club is one of the oldest private country clubs in Ohio, founded in 1905. But with modern facilities and youthful energy, it’s a perfect blend of turn-of-the-century values and state-of-the-art conveniences.
Elyria’s 18 holes were laid out in 1925 by William Flynn, one of this country’s most renowned golf course architects. Many of his 60+ designs are famous U.S. Open sites like Cherry Hills, The Country Club in Brookline, and Shinnecock Hills; locally, Flynn’s work graces The Country Club and Pepper Pike.
The pros at Elyria Country Club run a full complement of tournaments for both men and women throughout the golf season, as well as junior clinics and events. Play, practice, compete, have fun!

On the culinary side, Iron Chef winner Michael Symon is the food and beverage consultant for ECC. Executive Chef Nick Barker creates the best in contemporary cuisine, served in dining and banquet rooms ideal for both formal or casual dining.
Elyria Country Club offers a wide range of non-golf activities, too, including a fitness center, an outdoor swimming pool, and many planned social events for the family.
