Eagle, Eagle, Eagle: Three in a Row at Ohio Am

Ohio Golf AssociationKyle Brossia of Findlay didn’t have the best round of the day, but he certainly had the three hole highlight of any golf career: three consecutive eagles in the third round of the 2011 Ohio Amateur Championship at NCR Country Club in Dayton.

Brossia dunked one from the fairway on the short 385-yard par-4 fourth hole, the followed that up with eagles at the back-to-back par-5 fifth (555 yards) and sixth holes (550 yards).

A double bogey, a triple bogey and five bogeys for the rest of the round ended up as a 77 on the scorecard. But what a three hole stretch…
