Michael Dota + Ryan Workman, who both play out of Red Tail Golf Club in Avon, shot an 11-under par round of 61 at their home course in a net scramble format to beat Joseph Di Biase + Jason Kohler by a single shot in the NOGA Net Series Scramble #1.
Both teams made two net eagles (on the same par-4 holes, the 2nd and the 10th) and seven birdies on their day. But the critical difference in the two rounds came at the 145-yard par-3 17th hole, as Di Biase + Kohler suffered a bogey there while Dota + Workman made par.
