Wes Stafford of Willoughby and Matt Collins of Powell have advanced to the match play portion of the 2015 USGA Four Ball Championship, played at the Olympic Club in San Francisco.
Stafford and Collins posted scores of 67 and 71 to finish T25 in qualifying. The top 32 teams advanced to match play, which begins Monday.
Brian Smith of Amherst and Jim Krivanek of Cleveland struggled in their qualifying efforts and did not advance.
UPDATE: Austin Smotherman / Bryson DeChambeau won by 5 and 3 over Ohio’s Matthew Collins / Wes Stafford in the Round of 32.
