For the second time in three weeks, the team of Jeff Malette and Mike Kracker cruised to victory in the Chippewa Monday Scratch League, posting a 4-under par 31 in the better ball format on the front nine. The pair’s two-shot victory over a host of teams moved them up the season long money list, where they are now tied for fourth place behind leader Mike Armour, Randy Skorman and Dan Marr.
The big winners on the evening were Dave Pulk and Ron Bell, who nabbed the only skin with a birdie on the par-4 8th hole (huh?!), good for $580 — a carry-over amount from the previous week.
