It was all about rolling the rock, and two teams did it better than the rest in this week’s scramble format.
The team of Mark Thomas and Kurt Peterson (fresh off a T1 at the Lazor) tied with Dr. Jeff Mallette and Mike Kracker on Monday evening in Week 9 of the Chippewa Scratch League, each with a smooth 6-under par score of 30.
2012 Chippewa Scratch League: Week 8 Results
Quinn Parker paired with partner Corey Leedy on Monday in the Shamble format — both players tee off, best shot selected, each player makes a score on his own ball from there and the aggregate score counts — and they played well enough together in that tricky format to win by two shots.

A giant skins pot was split between two teams at the Chippewa Scratch League on Monday.
One team did it with a pair of eagles, the other with a pair of well-earned birdies.
