SCAGA Making Changes for 2011

Stark County Amateur Golf AssociationThe Stark County Amateur Golf Association has made several user-friendly changes over the last few years. The biggest change has been the elimination of any membership fee to play in our events: each player pays the tournament entry fee, an optional skins game fee, and the golf course greens/cart fee (most of which have been discounted for our players) — and that’s it!

And there are some additional changes being made to SCAGA in 2011 that will benefit our players further.

FINAL RESULTS: 2010 Stark County Amateur

Lucas MurrayAs the last group of the day was still grinding it out on the golf course in search of a win, Lucas Murray of East Sparta was sitting in the clubhouse waiting.

Starting the day tied for ninth place and five shots off the lead, Murray’s final round six-under par 65 at the Sanctuary Golf Club in North Canton was an incredible turn-around, giving him a three shot victory in the 2010 Stark County Amateur Golf Championship with a 54-hole total of even par 215.
