2012 Greater Cleveland Skins Game: Week 6 Results
Legend Lake Golf Club in Chardon was the site for play on Thursday evening, with twenty players competing in the event.
Four skins were won, and it was Rob Schustrich of Windham who had the big night.
RESULTS: 2012 Lake Erie Golf Tour – Ohio Prestwick
Vaughn Snyder of Massillon won the first Lake Erie Golf Tour tournament of the 2012 season at Ohio Prestwick on Friday, shooting a 3-under par 69.
In perfect conditions, on tricky fast greens, Snyder fired an impressive 2-under par score of 34 on the front nine, then made eagle at the par-5 12th. From there he cruised home to a two shot victory over Tim Ailes of Lewis Center, OH.
2012 Greater Cleveland Skins Game: Week 5 Results
Tanglewood National Golf Club hosted the Greater Cleveland Skins Game Thursday night, but not a skin was won.
Birdies were made on three of the nine holes, but each of those holes was tied out.
Six holes were open with no birdies made — including the two par-five holes.
Lake Erie Golf Tour Kicks Off 2012 Season Friday
The Lake Erie Golf Tour, a professional mini-tour tournament series with a separate amateur division, plays its first event of the 2012 season this Friday at Ohio Prestwick Country Club in Uniontown. Players interested in competing in that event (or the rest of the series) should review the Lake Erie Golf Tour website.
2012 Greater Cleveland Skins Game: Week 4 Results
It was “old timers” night at Powderhorn Golf Course in Madison, and the seniors showed the young boys how to get the winning done.
Carl “Unc” Quercioli of Munson Township, who finished fourth on last year’s Leaderboard with a four-figure winnings total, captured the only skin on the night — and with it a giant payday.
