Dan Rush shot 5-under par 66 to win the Professional Division of The Medalist Tour’s Invitational at Eagle Creek Golf Club in Norwalk on Thursday, taking the victory by three shots over Eric Frishette, Steve Lee and Louis Lapos.

2010 Medalist Tour Portage County Open Results
Brian Unk of Lewis Center, a regular on The Canadian Tour, birdied the first playoff hole to win The Medalist Tour’s Portage County Open at Windmill Lakes Golf Club in Ravenna today.
Unk ended regulation play in a three-way tie with Vaughn Snyder and Paul Wackerly, all at 4-under par 66.

Vaughn Snyder became the first professional to capture three titles in the inaugural Medalist Tour season by shooting a 4-under par 67 to win The InfoCision Copley-Fairlawn Open at Rosemont Country Club.
And InfoCision CEO Carl Albright wore two hats on Tuesday: sponsor and player. By the end of the day, he went home wearing a crown, shooting a 1-under par 70 and winning the Amateur Championship Flight.

Jake Scott has come close to victory this year on The Medalist Tour, finishing second twice (including in a playoff at Aurora). But on Thursday at Quail Hollow Country Club, he proved he was ready to win, beating the field by an impressive four shots.
2010 Medalist Tour Austin Carr Invitational Results
Joey Frustaci played consistent golf, shooting a 2-under par 69 to win the $1,200 first prize in the Professional Division at The Medalist Tour’s Austin Carr Invitational at Stonewater Country Club in Highland Heights on Thursday.
Mike Emery also shot 69 but was unable to stay for a playoff, earning second place money plus two skins to collect $1,120.
2010 Medalist Tour Freedom Classic Results
Scott Holmes was the only golfer to break par at The Quarry Golf Club in Canton on Friday, shooting a 3-under par 69 to win The Medalist Tour’s Freedom Classic on July 2.
Holmes beat the runner-up trio of Paul Wackerly, Tim Ailes and Eric Frishette by three shots. But the day’s finish was not without some controversy, as Wackerly was assessed a two-stroke penalty on the par-3 12th hole, and an entire group was disqualified there as well.
