Last week, Northeast Ohio Golf posted a Q & A with Mike Hastings about the demise of The Medalist Tour. Since that time, a number of local players and golf course managers have been in contact by phone and email with questions or claims about the amount of money owed, about the amount of money collected during the year, about what Hastings is doing now, even where he lives.
So Northeast Ohio Golf put another series of questions to Hastings — and again he provided complete, direct replies.

The Medalist Tour Director Mike Hastings sent the following email to a number of players and to Northeast Ohio Golf at noon today, ending the operations of that Tour. But not every question is answered in the email — especially financial ones.
After two grueling days on two of the toughest courses played all year on The Medalist Tour, the cream rose to the top: Eric Frishette won his seventh event of the season, Walt Robertson his fifth and Kenny Kowall his third after each won their respective flights in The 2010 Tour Championship held Thursday and Friday at Stonewater and Little Mountain Country Clubs.
