Silver Lakes’ Ryan Armour shot 66-67=133 (-7) at the Lambton Golf & Country Club qualifier in Toronto to finish T2 and earn a berth in the U.S. Open Championship at Los Angeles Country Club in two weeks.
Uniontown’s Maxwell Moldovan shot 65-68=133 (-7) at the Springfield Country Club qualifier near Dayton to finish T4 along side three other players. Since the qualifier offered only five spots, a 3-for-2 playoff was required. After eight playoff holes that included multiple double-birdies, Moldovan made par on the par-5 against a birdie and is left as 1st Alternate.
