Andrew BaileyCleveland State junior Andrew Bailey from Rocky River was named to the 2013 NCAA Division I PING All-Midwest Region team announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Bailey, who earned Horizon League Player of the Year honors for the second straight season this year, led the Vikings with a 72.8 scoring average this year. It marked the second lowest average in a season in program history behind Jake Scott‘s 72.7 in 2007-08.

He was CSU’s top finisher in nine of the 10 events, including all five in the spring season when he posted a pair of runner-up finishes and four top-10’s in the five events.

A three-time first team all-league selection, Bailey’s career scoring average of 73.9 is tops in CSU history.

A total of 155 players across six regions – Northeast, East, Southeast, Midwest, Central and West – earned all-region honors for 2013. Bailey was the lone player from the Horizon League to earn the honor.
