Louisville is returning all six Varsity letter winners for the 2022 season and have very high hopes for the upcoming season. Head coach Michael McFerren summed up his optimism, “I can’t wait to see what the season holds. We have a solid group of hard working young men that set lofty goals after last season. We look forward to watching them work towards reaching the team and individual goals!” Louisville is also looking to fill out their 2022 schedule and coach McFerren asks any team to contact him if interested.

Members of the St. Ignatius golf team have been busy this summer. “The boys are excited to get back to team golf after a long summer competing in AJGA’s, Golfweek, the Western Am, Ohio Open, and 2 players qualifying at Bandon Dunes for the US Junior Am,” explained Coach PJ Myers. “We are grateful for the opportunity to be back together in August!” Senior Nick Piesen (Indiana commit) has had a productive summer after qualifying for the US Junior Am and qualifying for the Western Am and North/South Junior. Fellow Senior Connor Malicki has had a strong summer qualifying for the Sectional Stage of the US Open playing between PGA Tour Players Beau Hossler, Nick Hardy, and Sahith Theegala as well as the US Junior Am. Junior Bradley Chill won the Hudson Junior Invitational, had a runner up finish at the Penn State AJGA, and other top finishes at AJGA events. Junior Julian Dugan has had a very productive summer in AJGA and Golfweek events and put himself in position to be one of the top players for the team.
