PGA pro and local Sunbelt Senior Tour tournament director Gary Trivisonno made the following announcement today regarding Monday’s Triv’s Pro-Am and this week’s Sunbelt Cleveland Senior Open at Columbia Hills:
“Unfortunately, we must cancel the Triv’s Restaurant Pro-Am tomorrow due to flooding rivers at Columbia Hills, as the course is unplayable.
But the 2-day Sunbelt Cleveland Senior Open tournament on Tuesday and Wednesday IS STILL ON as scheduled.
Because of your involvement, we will still have a nice donation for the Ohio Girls Golf Foundation. Thanks to all of you!!
For those of you who have NOT previously paid your Pro-Am entry fee and would like to make a charitable contribution to the OGGF in lieu of play, please let me know by 5:00 pm tomorrow via phone or text so that we can pay OGGF accordingly.
Please send a check made payable to the Sunbelt Senior Golf Tour, 129 Stegall Circle, Longs, SC 29568.
For those of you who HAVE sent in your Pro-Am entry fees, your names will be posted in the Columbia Hills golf shop to bring a foursome for a later date. Simple call Columbia Hills to arrange a tee time at your convenience.
Please come out and watch some great golf this Tuesday and Wednesday! And I look forward to making next year’s event bigger and better.”
