2018 MANUFACTURER’S DEMO RANGE
Whether you want to test and compare the industry’s newest clubs or simply get in some winter practice, you’ll have the best selection of the latest golf equipment to hit on the giant 9,000 sq. ft. indoor range! Just like you’re on Tour, you’ll whack Titleist ProV1 golf balls on the Show range while using a huge selection of major manufacturer clubs for men, women and juniors.
LONG DRIVE CHAMPIONSHIP
A crowd favorite! Attendees flex their golf muscles and compete for valuable prizes as well as bragging rights with their golf buddies. Prizes are awarded to the contestant with the longest drive of each division: Men’s Open, Men’s Senior (50+), Ladies, & Junior (14 and under). Distances are measured using golf radar technology. The Grand Prize for each Division is a TaylorMade M2 Driver!
MYRTLE BEACH WORLD AM HOLE-IN-ONE CONTEST
It’s an indoor golf hole designed and constructed to challenge even the most-accomplished golfers! Based on one of the most iconic golf holes in the world, the 17th hole at the TPC Sawgrass, this challenge headlines our interactive displays and is one of the most elaborate indoor golf holes ever created. The winner receives two entries into the Myrtle Beach World Amateur Handicap Championship, plus hotel accommodations and a rental car! That’s a $1,500 prize package value! SYNLAWN LONG PUTT CHALLENGE
This 70 foot long sidewinder requires the perfect line, speed and luck! Plenty of undulation and break. A golf tournament-like crowd roar can be heard throughout the Show when a putt is holed. Contestants win cash prizes based on the number of putts holed. The more you make, the more you win! Make 1 putt and win $5, 2 putts – $50, and 3 putts – $100. Participants are limited to one prize per show weekend.
The cost of each competition/activity above is $5.00 per. But you can purchase an Activities Wristband for unlimited one-day access to all of the show competitions, including the Manufacturer’s Demo Range! The wristband offers a significant discount to those who would like to jump in on all of the competitions and test out new clubs multiple times; it’s unlimited play! (But hey, limit one prize per person per show weekend. Can’t sweep the pot.)
The 2018 Cleveland Golf and Travel Show at the I-X Center runs Friday, Feb 16 from 2p – 8p; Saturday, Feb 17 from 9a – 6p; and Sunday, Feb 18 10a – 4p.
