There is already a big pot of skins money that went unclaimed last week, and the format for today’s final event of the 2016 Chippewa Scratch League season adds to the potential for a big winner!
The final week of the Chippewa Scratch League always features the 3/3/3/9 format, with payouts for each segment: three holes of scramble, three holes of better ball, three holes of aggregate shamble, total score, and skins.
If you didn’t play last week, you will need to cover last week’s skins entry in addition to paying this week’s event fees. Here is what will be due this evening:
– if you played last week and you are a pre-paid league member, you will owe $40 plus golf+cart for the event ($10 for each 3-hole segment, the ‘total’ is prepaid, and $10 for skins);
– if you played last week and pay week-to-week, you will owe $55 plus golf+cart for the event ($10 for each 3-hole segment, $15 for total, $10 for skins);
– if you didn’t play last week and are a pre-paid league member, you will owe $50 plus golf+cart ($10 for each 3-hole segment, nothing for total, but $20 for skins);
– if you didn’t play last week and pay week-to-week, you will owe $65 plus golf+cart ($10 for each 3-hole segment, $15 for total, $20 for skins).
Everyone is chasing Shayne Bishop and partner Ken Koprivec, who sit atop the leaderboard. So grab a partner and get out to Chippewa between 3:30 and 6p and we’ll see who leads the season-long list at the end of tonight — there is a 2017 Chippewa membership on the line for the winner…
