Jim Krivanek and Mike Simpson came out on top by a single shot in Week 6 of Monday’s Chippewa Scratch League event.
Playing in the Shamble Combined Score format on the back nine, the pair posted a 1-under par score of 71 to nip runners-up Mike Armour and Jason Chadima, who played along side. The two teams battled down to the end, with the winners determined on the final hole.
But Armour and Chadima were the big money winners on the evening, as they also grabbed one of three skins earned with an eagle/birdie combination on the par-5 10th hole.
The 2016 Chippewa Scratch League Leaderboard is bunching up, but Shayne Bishop still leads the pack. Updated below.
Note that there is no Noon skins game next week Monday, June 20th at Chippewa, as there is an outing. But league play will be held as normal.
