Ty Kovach and Allen Freeman cracked the four-figure mark on the 2015 Chippewa Scratch League Leaderboard after tying for first place and taking the entire skins pot in Week 13.
Kovach and Freeman tied with Chris Okeson and Rob Schustrich at 6-under par 29 in the scramble format on the front nine.
A birdie at the par-4 fifth hole was good enough to net the entire skins pot for Kovach and Freeman as well. That skins pot sweep was thanks in large part to Shustrich and Okeson tying off the evening’s third place finishers, Jeff Dean and Jim Hockwalt, on the par-3 second hole: both teams made bombs there for the only birdies as the final groups of the night.
The Week 13 haul by Freeman and Kovach push them to over $1,141 each on the season. They now sit over $430 up on Mike Simpson, who holds down third-place…
