Dave Oates and Sam Spino took another victory at the Chippewa Scratch League, this time winning in the better ball format on the front nine Monday with a score of 5-under par 30.
Oates and Spino won two weeks ago at the Rosemont 3/3/3/3, and with this week’s victory climb to sixth (Spino) and ninth (Oates) on the 2015 Leaderboard.
The other big winners on the evening were Mark Thomas and Mark Honeycutt, who nabbed the only skin with an eagle 3 on the par-5 third hole.
