Danny Marr put on a clinic on the back nine at Chippewa on Monday, shooting 6-under par on his own ball in the better ball format.
His partner, Bobby Spino, added another birdie to the team’s total, and the pair lapped the field with a 7-under par 29, winning by two shots over Quinn Parker and Jon Clark.
The other big winners on the evening were Jim Cea and Tom Seever, who won a scorecard playoff for third place and nabbed one of the two skins earned on the day with an eagle on the par-5 10th.
The always hard-charging team of Chris Helaney and Dennis Burkheimer took the other skin with a birdie on the par-4 16th.
