On a windy and cool evening under the back nine better ball format, a pair of teams tied for the top spot in Week 4 of the Chippewa Scratch League. And with two skins won on the evening by completely different teams, no players took home a big prize that vaulted them up the Season Standings list.
The team of Mike Stiller and Jeff Leonard tied with partners Mark Thomas and Jim Krivanek at 3-under par 33 to nab the evening’s victory.
Birdies at holes 12 and 16 earned skins for Mike Armour/Jason Chadima and Schonover/Dean.
Dave Oates still leads the 2012 Season Standings, which have been updated now to reflect both gift certificate amounts and optional cash/skins pot winnings for the year.
