Ty Kovach and Allen Freeman made it back-to-back weeks in which they finished in a first place tie, but the lack of an outright win has kept the resulting payouts fairly small and prevented the pair from making a big climb up the standings.
This time under the better ball format on the front nine, Freeman and Kovach tied with the teams of Mark Thomas / Tim Cebula and Mike Armour / Jason Chadima at 3-under par.
The skins pot was also split fairly thin, as three teams dipped into that prize pool at $120 for each skin won, all birdies — including a 30-foot bomb by Drew Thompson on the second hole made with a putter he stole from his grandma.

Only two more weeks of league play remain in the 2012 season, and it appears that Dave Oates and Sam Spino will lock up the League Standings race unless one team can pretty much take every dollar in play…
