It was carry-over skins night with a $900+ pot in play in Week 13 of the Chippewa Scratch League, and with the better ball format there always seems to be a few skins won.
This evening’s event was no different in that three skins were made. But the fact that all three of those skins were nabbed by the same team was a complete shocker.
Shane Bishop and Ken Koprivec took home the entire double skins pot with an eagle on #11 and birdies on 14 and 17 to make a big jump up the 2012 League Standings to the 5th and 7th positions.
Dave Oates and Sam Spino added to their league-leading totals with a smooth two-shot victory at 4-under par 32.
Next week Monday, August 20th, the Chippewa Scratch League will be treated to a Steak/Cash Night with play being held at Chippewa. Should be a big field for that event, given the tasty after party.
