Rick Bryson and Ryan Maxwell edged out a pack of five teams on Monday at the Chippewa Scratch League, posting a strong 6-under par 29 in the scramble format on the front nine to earn their first win of the 2011 season.
Five teams made it to 5-under par to earn a tie for second place, including the team of Mike Armour and Jason Chadima who scored victory last week.
The Armour/Chadima team has been creeping up the season-long money list of late (which now needs to be fully updated with the gift certificate amounts since it is Week 7, nudge to Kevin), gaining ground on (and perhaps even passing with the gift certificate amounts, who knows!) No team earned a big skin on the evening, meaning a carry-over of that skins money will be in play on the next league night!
There is no league play next Monday due to the July 4th holiday. (Note that there is a July 4th 11 a.m. $100 skins game that will be played at Chippy.) League play will resume on Monday, July 11th.
