EVENT FORMAT: 2-Player Team Event, Scramble, Skins Game
A NOGA Net Series Event. Entries are open to any amateur golfer, male or female 19 years of age or older, holding an active NOGA/GHIN Handicap Index® at the time of registration and competition from an authorized NOGA member club.
FORMAT:
Scramble: A team consists of two players. Each player plays from the teeing area on each hole, one of the tee shots is selected and both players play their second shots from within one club length of that location, no closer to the hole, and in the same height of grass in the general area. The ball chosen may be marked and there is no order of play. Play continues in this manner until the ball is holed.
35% of Golfer A’s handicap (Lower handicap partner) and 15% of Golfer B’s handicap (Higher handicap partner) will be added together to calculate the team’s handicap for the round. If the difference in partner Playing Handicap is greater than 10 strokes, we will reduce the higher Playing Handicap so that the difference between partners Playing Handicap is 10 strokes.
This is a net competition with all teams competing in one division. The lowest net scores will win gift certificates.
