Time to get your entries in for the Cleveland Am Qualifying Events and Course Championships of the Cleveland Metroparks! This year's 36-hole qualifying is at Big Met and Manakiki on July 9-10; at Sleepy Hollow on July 16-17; at Seneca on July 23-24; and at Shawnee on July 30-31. - Mike Simpson and Dave Oates topped the field at the Zoar Summer 2-M Scramble and added an eagle for one of three skins won to boost their victory;

- Jim Troy won the NOPGA Stroke Play #4 at Oberlin GC with a bogey-free 6-under par 66, as Gary Trivisonno took the Senior side with a clean 5-under par 67;

- Mark Wilbur and John Weiland shot a net 9-under par 63 -- including 7-under on the back nine alone! -- to win the NOGA Net Series Four-Ball #2 at Lake Forest;
