A two-hour delay before the first starting time on Wednesday, followed by another delay for three hours just before 1:30pm, led to an incomplete Round 2 in the 2024 Ohio Amateur Championship at Sylvania Country Club.
Rylan Wotherspoon of Cincinnati (66-68=134) and first-round co-leader Nick Piesen of Strongsville (64-70=134) share the lead at 10-under par, while Tyler Goecke of Xenia sits in solo third at 9-under par.
A number of groups did not complete play Wednesday and must return early Thursday morning to finish Round 2. That includes the other first-round co-leader, Darin Hudak of Tallmadge, who currently sits two shots back at T4 with eight holes left to play.
Andrew Bailey of Shaker Heights, who just recently finished T2 in the Ohio Open as an amateur, is finished with 36 holes at 7-under par, good for solo 7th place.
Ian Hardesty of Kent, Solomon Petrie of Akron and Jack Vojtko from Stow are finished at 6-under par in a group of seven players at T8.
