Bryson DeChambeau held on to capture his second U.S. Open title in Sunday’s final round. After falling behind by two shots to Rory McIlroy on the back nine, Bryson saved par on #18 and Rory missed two short putts to give Bryson the victory.
Howard Essner won The U.S. Open Northern Ohio Golf PGA Tour Fantasy Series Tournament with his best 8 players of 12 combining for 8 strokes over par. Howard chose three players in the top 3 that made the difference for his team: winner Bryson DeChambeau (-6), Rory McIlroy (-5), and Tony Finau (-4).
Chad Harrison finished in second place two strokes back of Essner with a team score of 10 over par. Pat Graham finished in third with a team score of 11 strokes over par.
Essner earned $225 for first place for his team selections, while Harrison earned $135 and Graham earned $90.
