RESULTS: 2024 North Coast Junior Tour Four Ball

Dominic Cosic (Concord) and Richard Kimmel (Shaker Hts) three-peat at the JB Four-Ball Classic. They had 3 birdies and 3 bogeys to shoot 35-36–71 (E)Ethan and his father Dana Olszowy (Avon) were right there, only needing 1 birdie over the last seven holes to tie it up. They had a bogey on there 17th hole instead and that set them back to +3 for a 2nd place finish.

Team Championship Update

The season-long team championship is proving to be an exciting competition with the Mizuno/Bridgestone Team leading with 4 big events to go. The Mizuno/Bridgestone team is being lead by the consistent play of Austin Funk (Medina) and Wren Spires (Medina). Other contributors have been Elena Varga (Hudson) with her 3 under round at Pine Ridge, Megh Upadhyay (Reminderville), Matt Contipelli (Solon), Vince Feudo (Solon) and Koen Van Scoy (Hudson). The Ping/Cleveland/Srixon Team is in 2nd place and is being lead by Will Cody (Shaker Hts), Kyle Boyd (Willoughby), Tyler Hace (Willoughby) and Jimmy Hoose (Wickliffe). These good players could easily close the gap on the leaders. The Titleist/Callaway Team has been on a roll lately and is rising to the top quickly. This team is being lead lately by Michael Jaycic (Chesterland) and Lincoln Miller (Concord) with great rounds at Pine Ridge 74 and 76 respectively. Andrew Betz (Mentor) and Kaiden Kohler (Bristolville), had 75 & 74 respectively at Signature of Solon, their great rounds were the start the team’s comeback charge. At Tanglewood, Betz and Jaycic were solid again with 77 and 78, but Andreas Reider (Concord) had 76 to lead the team to a 3.79 overall differential.
