The annual Zoar 2 x 4 Scramble was held on Sunday at Zoar Golf Club. The traditional July 4th event features two 2-man scramble teams recording the better score on each hole, but all scores under par count.
The tournament asks the question: How low can you go?
The team of Jimmy Wild with Ryan Stefanski and Brian Smith with Conor Mead were able to post a one stroke victory at 23-under par.
Mike Simpson with Dave Oates and Aaron Crewse with HJ Wenger were at 22 under par.
Bill Jenkins, Evan Jenkins, Ryan Mallette and Mark Mokros took home third place money at 19 under.
There were 2 skins: an eagle 3 on Hole #2 by Max DeCheco and Matt Frey; and an eagle 3 on Hole #12 by Wild and Stefanski. Skins paid $220 each.
The next tournament is the Zoar Senior Masters 2-Man Better Ball for players age 60+ on Saturday August 7th.
