Chris Okeson, who currently sits in second place in the NOGA Player of the Year standings, leads the Championship Division after Day 1 of the NOGA Great Lakes Auto Tour Championship, played today at the Firestone Fazio Course. Okeson finished strong with two eagles in his last six holes to shoot 4-under par on the back nine and 3-under overall.
Howard Clendenin and Vaughn Snyder share second place, two shots behind Okeson.
Two players are tied at the top of the Senior Division: Tom Skidmore and John Toth share the lead after both players posted an opening two-over-par 72 on Sunday. After knocking down three birdies in his last four holes, Toth tied Skidmore for the lead.
