Talk about high demand: the Northern Ohio Golf Association has sold out the first two tournaments on its 2019 schedule, and a waiting list has been started for each.

The Wednesday, May 1st NOGA Two-Player Scramble at Shady Hollow Country Club in Massillon and the Monday, May 6th NOGA Spring Four-Ball at Lakewood Country Club in Westlake are both filled to capacity. Both events have multiple teams on their respective waiting lists, too.

About one-quarter of these first two event fields is made up of public-member players, which is new for 2019. Three women are also competing in these NOGA events for the first time ever, too. It’s an unprecedented level of participation, and it is a great sign for the game of golf in Northeast Ohio.

Did you plan to play in one of these first two events but didn’t get your entry? Don’t get shut out again! NOGA’s handicap-flighted Four-Ball events are also coming up in May, and each of those fields is already two-thirds of the way full. So get on the stick and sign up now!
