Haylee Harford from Leavittsburg, Ohio earned a spot on the LPGA Tour in 2022 as a graduate of last week’s 2021 LPGA Q Series, eight aggregate tournament rounds held over two weeks at two different sites on Alabama’s Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail.
Harford, 25, shot 6-under par over for those eight rounds to finish tied for 32. The top 45 in the Q-school earned status; the players who finished 21-45 also receive Symetra Tour status.
Harford has been a Symetra Tour Member since 2020 and has made $86,780 in career earnings. She has earned a total of eight top-10 finishes on Tour in her career.
In 2021, Harford finished 20th in the Race for the Card standings, recording four top-10 finishes including a season-best fourth at the Carlisle Arizona Women’s Golf Classic.
She played collegiately at Furman University, capturing 2019 Southern Conference Player of the Year honors.
On her weeks off from tour, she plays locally in a Monday night scratch league at Riverview View Golf Course in Newton Falls, and the players in that league love her and are rooting for her in 2022.
