The start of the 2025 edition of the Northern Ohio Golf PGA TOUR Fantasy Series is not too far around the corner!
The new PGA TOUR season kicks off on Thursday, January 2nd with The Sentry Tournament of Champions at Kapalua in Maui, which also will be the first Fantasy Golf Series event of the 2025 season.
How It Works
Contestants pick 12 players + alternates from four ranked columns from an easy-to-use menu of those who are entered into the event. Eight scores count for the contestant’s team score.
The contestants with the top-3 team scores plus ties receive prize payments equal to 100% of the $10 entry fees collected for each event, split 50/30/20% for 1st/2nd/3rd.
The highest prize payout of the 2024 season was awarded during the U.S. Open, with the winner earning $225 out of a total prize amount of $450.
The 2025 Fantasy Series schedule will run primarily during the PGA TOUR’s Signature Events, the four Major Championships, and the Tour Championship finale. The Fantasy Golf Series is open to all, with complete entry details available in advance of each event on northernohio.golf. The Series is run using the Majors Challenge platform.

In 2024, Dana Addis won the first and last events of the Fantasy Season. After that, there were no repeat winners, spreading the first place prizes around to various contestants. In fact, the Masters Fantasy event featured a three-way first place tie!
