- NOGA has revised the format for its Interclub Team Championships for 2019, providing a fun opportunity to play golf on a team -- kinda like the old high school golf days;

- The Cleveland/Akron Golfweek Amateur Tour starts up their handicap-flighted series at Sable Creek on Sat, May 18th. The good news: they've hosted two joint events with Cincy (at CC of the North) and Columbus (at Springfield CC) over the last two weekends, and both events drew well over 100-players;

- check out all of the Junior Golf Tours and junior golf learning opportunities across Northeast Ohio for 2019;

- the Kent State Men's Golf Team earned the MAC Championship automatic bid to the NCAAs after a wacky weather weekend at Club Walden forced a Sunday cancellation and a 5th-man tie-breaker;

- Chippewa Golf Club's Kevin Larizza previews the 2019 Monday 2-M Scratch League, which officially starts on Mon, May 6th;

- Director Tim Davis previews the 2019 Akron District Golf Association season;

- the NOPGA is now accepting entries for the 2019 Senior Ohio Open at Firestone West in the last week of May;

- Golf Datatech reports that Greater Cleveland rounds played were up a whopping 139% in March over 2018 numbers;
