- Amateur Brad Steven of Concord earned a spot in the U.S. Senior Open at Newport CC in Rhode Island in June after posting a 68 at the Worthington Hills CC qualifier in Columbus on Monday, finishing solo second;
- Steve Blackburn Jr. + Jimmy Wild made birdie at the last to shoot 11-under par 61 and edge past Adam Frey + Tony Briggs in the Cleveland Metroparks 2-Player Scramble at Manakiki;
- Kirtland CC's Mark Bixler and the red-hot Blake Sattler of New Philadelphia shared the NOPGA Stroke Play #2 title at Elyria CC, each shooting 2-under par 70, while Mitch Camp topped the Senior Division with a 69;
- Isabella Anderson won the Girls Overall title and Ryan Dinan and Fitch Farina shared the Boys at the 36-hole NOPGA Junior Tour Event at Ashland CC, while Griffin Pickett, Gracyn Vidovic, and Elijah Stewart won their age divisions;
- Dale Roppel won the PGA Championship Fantasy Event as Xander Schauffele captured the first major championship of his career at Valhalla. Roppel's team finished a whopping 101 under par! RESULTS >
- Entries are now open for the 15th Annual Greatest Golfer Championships, a 3-day, 54-hole flighted-by-handicap tourney played at multiple courses across the Youngstown area on Aug 9-11. Early bird entry fee of $179 available until June 1;
