On a tough night for scoring in the Better Ball format, Jimmy Wild + Matt Frey paced the field with a 3-under par finish on the back nine at Chippewa to beat Dave Trier + John Toth by one.
The Wild/Frey birdie-2 at the 17th hole also held up for one of four skins captured in the session.
Trier chipped in for eagle at the 10th to nab their team’s skin and help the scoring cause.
With his first place finish and skin-winner, Wild has jumped back into the second position on the 2021 Leaderboard. Mike Simpson still holds the top spot on the Leaderboard with only three weeks remaining, and his lead has shrunk to $176…
