Week 3 featured the challenging aggregate score format on the front nine at Chippewa Golf Club, and for the most part the golf course won.
The team of Eric Vought and Ken Koprivek tied for first place with the team of Mike Simpson and Jim Kirvanek, as each pair finished with a combined aggregate score of 1-over par 71. It was a fairly warm, sunny and windless evening, so 1-over par is a good solid score but no team ‘went off’.
Vought and Koprivek also nabbed one of three skins earned, making them the big money winners on the evening.
Players are reminded that the 2014 league dues of $165 must be paid before the next event, which will be Monday, June 2nd. New teams can still join the league before then as well. The first season-long money list should be available after that June 2 event; watch Northeast Ohio Golf for those standings.
Note that League will NOT be played next week Monday due to the Memorial Day holiday. However, there is a $50 Big Cash Skins Game scheduled that Monday at Chippewa from 11:15a – 11:52a!
